GOTS & GOLS-Certified Organic Factory
The Brentwood Home factory in Los Angeles is a GOTS-certified organic facility (CU861640), ensuring the highest standards for organic materials, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of our entire supply chain. We are publicly listed in the GOTS database for transparency and trust. We clearly label our materials and finished products that are certified organic.

Climate Neutral Certified
As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2020, we've measured Brentwood Home's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions.

Being FSC® certified (C156319) validates that Brentwood Home complies with the highest social and environmental standards for environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

Recycling Claim Standards
We use the RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) to track recycled raw materials through our supply chain. The RCS verifies the presence and amount of recycled material in our final products, with third-party chain-of-custody verification of recycled material content claims on our products. The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is similar, but applies to full products and vets social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. Brentwood Home is currently finalizing both standards.
Waste Not!
Nearing Zero Waste
As part of Avocado Green Brands, we are the first home and bedding brand to achieve the UL Environment Landfill Waste Diversion Validation, on our journey toward Zero Waste. The UL standard requires at least 90% diversion through methods other than waste to energy. We are working hard now to reach 95% or greater diversion and achieve a Zero Waste validation — an incredible achievement!

Greenguard Gold
Products achieving the GREEDGUARD Gold Certification are scientifically proven (with testing in environmental chambers) to meet some of the world's most rigorous, third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure, while aiding in the creation of healthier indoor environments. Nearly all Brentwood Home products have achieved this gold standard.
