Cover Fabric & Handles: Our ticking features two luxurious layers. A GOTS-certified organic cotton quilted over a foundation layer and fiber stuffing made from REPREVE® recycled polyester, which utilizes up to 57 recycled plastic bottles (30%), and standard polyester (70%) sourced from Canada.

GOTS-Certified Organic Wool: A rich layer of naturally crimped natural wool, sourced from India. No synthetic fibers or flame retardants are included.

GOLS-Organic Certified Natural Dunlop Latex: The first 2-inch layer is contour cut with a patent-pending wave design, featuring three strategic zones. A second, 2-inch layer of latex for deep, yet slightly firmer support. Latex contains more than 95% of certified organic raw material based on total weight; with the remaining 5% comprised of essential processing agents.

Hemp Fiber Pad: A thin GOTS-certified organic natural hemp fiber pad buffers and transitions between the mattress's comfort and support layers.

Pocketed Innerspring Unit: Our 8-inch coil unit features 7 zones, up to 975 individually pocketed coils made from upcycled steel, and a reinforced perimeter.

Patented, Zoned Latex for Full-Body Support

We built a better foam core. Using GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex, our innovative, patent-pending foam makes waves. Literally. We cut the foam to create zig-zagging waves that reduce motion transfer and create targeted support. At the bottom and top thirds of the latex, the contours elongate to reduce pressure points in the shoulder and hips and allow for a more contouring shape. In the middle third, they tighten, for ideal spinal support.

We upcycle denim scraps — the byproduct from when all cotton denim jeans are cut — to create a support layer that is natural, breathable, and reduces waste. Our recycled denim pad is a high-performance thermoregulating material. So it isn’t stuffy, keeping your mattress airy and cool. It’s also free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which contribute to indoor air pollution. By upcycling this natural material, we prevent the denim scraps from ending up in the landfill.

Recycled Plastic Bottles Made Soft & Beautiful

We use REPREVE® in the gentle cover of each Hybrid Latex Mattress. The material harnesses up to 57 ocean-bound plastic bottles per mattress to create a recycled polyester performance fabric. It’s durable, soft, and breathable. REPREVE® is used for activewear, swimwear, and outerwear — among brands like Patagonia®, Quicksilver®, and Toms® — and now mattresses. The effort reduces waste while repurposing single-use plastic bottles, buoying its functionality while preventing them from entering our waste streams and waterways.

We handcraft our mattresses in our own GOTS, GOLS, FSC®, and Fair Trade® certified factory just outside of Los Angeles with the finest domestic and international materials. Most other mattresses are shipped from overseas, where environmental and social responsibility standards are minimal. Not ours. We make our own mattresses (few brands do this). And many of our craftspeople have been with us for more than 20 years!

GOLS Organic Certified Natural Dunlop Latex:

For our core comfort layers, we feature 4 inches of GOLS-certified organic natural Dunlop latex (CU861640) sourced from India. The first 2-inch layer is contour cut with a patent-pending wave design, featuring three strategic zones. This layer is D65 (14-19 ILD) for a soft feel. It is layered over a second 2-inch layer of D75 latex (20-25 ILD) for deep, yet slightly firmer support. The latex has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (19.HIN.79546, Hohenstein HTTI): Class 1 certification, plus eco-INSTITUT®, FSC®, GOLS, and Rainforest Alliance® certifications. Latex contains more than 95% certified organic raw material based on total weight; with the remaining 5% comprised of essential processing agents.

Hemp Fiber Pad:

A thin GOTS-certified organic natural hemp fiber pad buffers and transitions between the comfort layers and the support layers of the mattress.

eco-INSTITUT® - Latex

Based in Germany, the eco-INSTITUT is a label marking products that meet the strictest requirements for emissions and pollutants. The eco-INSTITUT label has been developed according to the latest standards defined by the organization.
Our natural latex rubber foam has been certified as a result of on-site inspection and comprehensive material lab and environmental testing. eco-INSTITUT verifies that our latex contains no harmful substances, no non-natural rubber content, and meets stringent standards for emissions (VOCs, formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde).

FSC - Latex

Natural latex comes from the Hevea brasiliensis tree. FSC® is considered the "gold standard" designation for resources harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.

GOLS Organic Certified

Our Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress uses GOLS Organic Certified latex. The Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) ensures that products contain more than 95% of certified organic raw material based on total weight. The GOLS standard features permissible limits for harmful substances, emission test requirements and polymer and filler percentages. Our factory in Los Angeles is also a GOLS certified facility. The Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress is completely GREENGUARD Gold Certified by UL Environment. TRIALS & RETURNS:

Mattresses, Toppers, Foundations: 1 Year
We offer a one-year sleep guarantee with our mattresses, toppers, and foundations. In order to properly adjust, we require a 30 day adjustment period from delivery. If you decide it isn’t right for you after 30 days, then we will schedule a pickup and provide a full refund. You do not have to repackage your mattress and ship it back. For all other eligible returns, including toppers, we may ask you to repackage the item and drop it off at a local donation center. Rest assured, our donation experts will guide you every step of the way. Without exception, we require that your mattress, topper and/or foundation has original law labels attached; your mattress has been used on a proper foundation or supportive base (a box spring, which contains springs, may not be sufficient); your mattress has been properly rotated head-to-toe, once a month for the first six months, then every other month; and everything is in a condition appropriate for donation (free from stains and burns). Note: a proper supportive base requires a center support for Queen, King and California King sizes, or the use of our Easy Foundation. For Queen, King, and California King slatted style bed frames. For proper support, no more than (5) inches between each slat are allowed in order to provide ample structural support for the foundation and user(s). We offer a 100-day sleep trial after the date of delivery for our sheets, with a full refund in the original payment form. The product must be free from stains and in good condition to donate.

You can return all other items within 30 days of delivery and receive a full refund in the original payment form. Please note: For yoga mats, we have a one return per household policy.
